The Securities Services business of BNP Paribas is one of Europe's leading providers of custody services for securities.
The Luxembourg branch plays a major part in its operations, offering clients high value-added services extending from custody to securities lending, fund administration, performance measurement and ratings, and bond issuance services.
We are currently looking for a:
Business Implementation Officer – Private Capital (M/F)
Permanent contract
Your mission:
· Guarantee the operational implementation of a new business (new client / new services for existing clients) within the Private Capital perimeter (analysis)
· Develop a close working and structured relationship with the operational Private Capital teams
· Ensure a structured and regular communication and monitoring of client event projects
· To ensure client’s needs are in line with BP2S standards
· Manage the business Operating Memorandum/Service Level Agreement and other operational documentation with clients
· To ensure setups are finalised on time
· To accompany changes during fund’s life
· To ensure a complete handover to operational teams when the on-boarding is over
· Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the on-boarding process
Key Responsibilities & Expected result area
1. Guarantee the operational implementation of a new business (new client / new services for existing
clients) within the Private Capital perimeter, ensuring the adequate use of project management methods, this includes but is not limited to:

analysing client needs from a Private Capital service offer perspective
-
preparing a gap analysis, proposing solutions, implementing with the various stakeholders the client business in production

working in close relationships with Relationship Managers and general business on boarding officers
-
ensuring quality of operational set-ups through diligent validation and customizing operational contracts
2. Develop a close working and structured relationship with the other Private Capital teams to ensure operational set ups and flows are in place and correct in order to mitigate any underlying risk : ensure internal coordination and ‘chasing’ of different members when needed, managing business priorities, holding regular meetings with members of the Private Capital Operational Teams.

3. Ensure a structured and regular communication and monitoring of client event projects:

sharing the status of the ongoing projects with the operational teams via reporting / dedicated meetings / workshops and clear e-mail communication

participate in workshops and conference calls related to the client project in order to understand the request and identify any specific client requirements.

To update the client referential To ensure a smooth transition in BAU

To ensure to have operational team’s managers and senior management validation to close the on boarding
4. Operating Memorandum / Service level Agreement: to put in place by working with clients and following BP2S standards
5. To be in charge of setups in different systems used by BP2S, either by doing the setups or by checking setups are correctly done
6. To accompany changes:
-
fund’s life events: to follow and coordinate events such as migration, liquidation…

support other Private Capital teams in case of need (FA, TA, Financial Reporting, Custody, Client Account Managers, Management)

actively participate in the continuous improvement of the on-boarding process by proposing concrete and pragmatic solutions and leading, as necessary, post implementation reviews.

Knowledge of Private Capital specificities
Knowdedge of IFRS, US Gaap or consolidation considered as an asset
