Investment Compliance Officer (M/F)

It is fully integrated with multiple counterparties (inside and outside the bank): Depot bank, Custodian, Management Companies, Data Providers, Auditors…

Mission statement

The Investment Compliance Officer mission is to monitor the funds’ compliance with the legal and investment restrictions.  The Officer oversees the   first set of analysis carried out by IOC and contributes to manage the compensation procedures resulting from compliance breaches for FA CIC clients who have subscribed to our CIC offer (Standard & ESG)

The key responsibilities of the CIC specialists are:

  • Define, coordinate, and monitor the controls linked to restrictions and investment policies for our clients (investment funds)
  • Perform second-level controls (preliminary calculations, escalation of ratios and ratio controls) via the dedicated CIC tool.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with our clients linked to Investment Compliance subjects.
  • Ensure communication with management companies, financial managers, funds auditors and the CSSF as part of the CSSF 02/77 declaration and audit review.
  • Share knowledge and technical skills with the team.
  • Be actively involved in the organization and evolution of the department / CIC organization.
  • Manage projects like «business implementation» (new client integration) and «control implementation» (developing and implementing new controls/reports/formulas).

Required experience: Proven background and knowledge in the area of Investment Compliance and / or financial services & financial instruments.

Business Managers are part of the Client Development team for the Securities Services business.  The Client Development team is responsible for all client management related activities, including sales, client relationship management and client satisfaction. 

Within this team, the Client Services Managers (CSM) oversee the service delivery with an overall responsibility to ensure an optimized client experience for each client whereas Market Specialist (MS) contributes to the protection & development of profitable revenue streams, acting as representative of the Booking location on the deals, in line with the global client strategy driven by the Global Relationship Management (GRM) and/or the Pilot Relationship Manager (Pilot RM).

The Business management team is responsible for a number of global & local initiatives to improve service delivery to clients and ensure consistent and quality client experience for all Securities Services products and services around the world.

The team is in constant interaction with the central Global Client Services and local CSM & MS as well as with the Business Managers (IT and operational) and Client Lines representatives and the functions

All processes are defined based on client needs, following the principles and methodology of Uplifting Service. They aim to improve the customer experience through efficient organization and adapted digital tools.

Your missions : 

  • Contribute to the definition of needs and the monitoring of planning, from the business requirements’ definition to the completion of projects.
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines and deliverables and map out interdependencies across other projects and functions

Education : 

You are studying in a Master degree with some knowledge of Investment funds

Professional Experience: 

Previous experience as an intern in a banking environment would be a plus.

Stage de minimum 6 mois à compter de septembre 2024

Vous devez impérativement justifier d’une convention de stage pour toute la période visée.

 

Vos missions :

Au sein de l’équipe Gestion Conseillée, vous serez en charge des missions suivantes :

–  Analyse de portefeuilles en collaboration avec les Senior Investment Advisors.

–  Rédaction de propositions d’investissement.

–  Production de reportings de performance.

–  Communication d’idées d’investissement sur toutes les classes d’actifs (action, obligation, produits structurés, private equity …).

–  Ciblage de portefeuilles.

Apport du poste:

–  Ce stage permettra au candidat d’acquérir une très bonne première expérience de la Banque Privée, et plus particulièrement de l’Offre produits, et ce au sein d’un groupe bancaire réputé.

Stagiaire – Data Visualization – PMO IT (H/F)

(mission de 6 mois à pourvoir dans les meilleurs délais)

 Vous devez impérativement justifier d’une convention de stage couvrant l’intégralité de la période visée.

Au sein du département informatique de la BGL, l’équipe PMO IT a la charge du pilotage des projets informatiques, et de la mise en place d’indicateurs au sein de reporting ayant pour objectifs d’informer et alerter si besoin, les instances de direction locales et groupe.

Intégrer le service PMO IT, c’est rejoindre une équipe expérimentée qui vous accompagnera dans votre montée en compétence sur le vocabulaire spécifiques à l’activité et la compréhension des missions/activités opérées.

Selon votre mission, vous serez amené à échanger en équipe, avec des chefs de projets, responsables de départements, et équipes transverses stratégiques et financières.

La mission portera sur la mise en place de reporting sous power BI :

  • Analyses des données source
  • Travail de préparation de la donnée.
  • Mise en place de reporting, visuels adaptés aux pilotages
  • Piloter la qualité des données, les définir et valider leurs responsabilités au sein des processus.

 

Votre stage sera organisé de la manière suivante : 

  • Analyser les cas d’usage des outils et les besoins des utilisateurs cibles.
  • Définir le design des reporting.
  • Développer les reportings sous power BI, avec power query
  • Réaliser une démo pour présenter les résultats obtenus.
  • Publier régulièrement les reporting et accompagner le changement auprès des clients.

Ce poste vous permettra de développer vos compétences fonctionnelles en gestion de projet et technologiques (Data vizualisation, Data analyst) sur un très large périmètre lié à la gestion de projet : Projet / Reporting (Comités de pilotage, Suivi projets, Pilotages des ressources)

Développer votre capacité à communiquer (animation de réunion) et fournir des restitutions et synthèses aux différents partenaires des projets

Renforcer vos compétences analytiques transverses.

Le département PMO de l’IT est en évolution afin d’accompagner au mieux ses clients dans un environnement informatique stimulant.

Une autonomie sur certains sujets sera demandée pour permettre d’aborder tous les aspects de la DATA (processus, systèmes, risques, analyses), et travaillerez en collaboration avec l’équipe et le département (nombreux interlocuteurs).
