Your internship will be within the Managed FX and Overlay Solutions (MFOS) department. 

 

MFOS (Managed Forex & Overlay Solutions) is the BNP PARIBAS Securities Services business line Trading desk that offers clients foreign‑exchange products (spot, forward, and FX swaps) as well as a Passive Currency Overlay service (neutralizing currency risk on the hedged portions of funds).

 

These activities generate market risk, credit risk, and operational risk. The Middle Office team’s mission is to monitor those risks through a series of controls carried out throughout the trading day.

 

 

Specifically, what is your mission and your daily routine?

 

As a Middle Office Intern you will sit at the heart of the trading floor, acting as the essential control bridge that connects the worldwide Front‑Office desks (Paris, Luxembourg, New York, Sydney) with the Back‑Office. In this role you’ll support the team by carrying out a variety of control‑focused tasks and ensuring smooth, risk‑aware operations across the whole trading ecosystem, for example:

•  Reconcile inventories – compare the positions recorded in the front‑office system with those in the accounting system.

•           Monitor FX positions – keep an eye on currency exposures and flag any deviations from the expected limits.

•           Document transaction changes – provide clear justifications for any trades that are altered after initial entry.

•           Investigate anomalies – when irregularities appear, you will assist in the investigation, analysis, and implementation of corrective measures.

•           Produce regular reports – help prepare daily/weekly reporting on the desk’s activity (number of transactions, volumes, performance indicators, etc.).

Based in the Ekinox building on the 5th floor, you will join a small team of three people with whom you will work closely.

This team is part of a larger group of about twenty colleagues (the MFOS team).

 Au sein du département Tribe Crédit, dans le cadre de la stratégie et des objectifs fixés, la mission du Project/Product Officer consiste à définir, mettre en œuvre et assurer le suivi de l’offre de produits et de services. Il assure également la gestion de projet, la commercialisation de ses produits au travers notamment d’actions promotionnelles et de communication mais aussi du suivi de production, de reporting et d’analyse d’amélioration continue.

CONCRÈTEMENT, VOTRE MISSION ET VOTRE QUOTIDIEN ?

En détail :

o   Identifie les opportunités de marché de son domaine d’activité (besoins clients, digitalisation, réglementation), identifie leurs impacts sur l’activité et propose les mesures d’ajustement nécessaires

o   Pilote et accompagne plusieurs projets stratégiques (comme la digitalisation de nos parcours clients) avec les équipes IT et d’autres équipes transverses en lien avec son domaine.

o   Accompagne le lancement et la vente des produits tout au long de l’expérience client 

o   Propose des évolutions de notre offre de produits et services et assure le lancement opportun de nouveaux produits compétitifs et innovants

o   Assure une mise à jour des différents supports de ventes internes (fiches produits, supports opportunités de contact, campagnes commerciales, EchoNet…) et externes (brochures, flyers, site internet BGL.lu…)

o   Assure la conformité du lancement et du suivi des produits par rapport aux exigences du Groupe BNP à travers des comités.

o   Suit les KPIs (volumes, marges, taux de transformation, etc) de la Tribe

o   Analyse le portefeuille, la production, l’environnement, les concurrents, les besoins du marché et initie les actions de développement nécessaires en collaboration avec la direction commerciale crédit.

o   Suit les objectifs crédits fixés par le métier et anime le produit en cas de retard de la production

o   Produit des reportings

o   Détermine et ajuste les tarifications en collaboration avec l’équipe Pricing :

–  Assure la réalisation de business case et de l’argument commerciale.

–  Pour le portefeuille existant : monitor les conditions particulières, évaluation de l’impact financier et proposition de plan d’action

–  Révision de manière régulière de la pertinence des tarifs standards

o   Identifie les actions commerciales nécessaires à la promotion de son produit en collaboration avec l’équipe Customer Interaction

o   Défini le positionnement et l’offre qui sera mise en valeur lors de la campagne commerciale liée à son produit.

o   Analyse les résultats de la campagne en termes de production/ revenus en collaboration avec l’équipe Customer Interaction.

• Assure le benchmark concurrentiel / analyse de marché
  • Fait le suivi de la concurrence et de leur positionnement sur les produits crédit.
  • Fait le suivi des tendances marché sur les produits bancaires 

o   Développe, suit et coordonne des projets visant à adapter l’offre et les processus de financement aux enjeux de durabilité.

o   Contribue à la mise en place de produits/ partenariats de crédits responsables au suivi des indicateurs ESG dans le portefeuille

o   Le rôle implique une étroite collaboration avec les équipes RSE, finance, commerciales et réglementaires afin de garantir la conformité et de soutenir la stratégie durable de la Tribe

Le service Credit Contracting a le job pour vous ! Vous serez en charge de la rédaction des contrats de crédits accordés aux clients de la Banque des Entreprises, des Espaces Entrepreneurs et de la Banque Privée.

CONCRÈTEMENT, VOTRE MISSION ET VOTRE QUOTIDIEN ?

·       Sur base de la décision du Comité de crédit, vous serez amené à : 

o   Rédiger les contrats de financement et les mécanismes de garanties,

o   Créer les lignes de crédit, les utilisations et les suretés dans les applications IT ;

·       Vous traiterez tous types de produits crédits généralement proposés à nos clients Personnes Morales : Fonds de roulement, Crédit d’investissements, Roll-over, crédits syndiqués, garanties bancaires, garanties d’achèvements, … 

·       Pour des dossiers plus complexes, vous coopérerez avec le Relationship Manager, les analystes crédits et Legal afin de refléter de manière précise la décision du comité de crédits, de préserver les intérêts de la banque et de livrer au client un contrat de crédit correspondant à ses besoins. 

·       Pendant l’élaboration de l’offre de crédit, vous conseillez les Relationship Managers sur les conditions contractuelles en cours de négociation avec le client.

Expérience professionnelle et/ou diplôme

Études : Master en droit des Affaires / Droit Bancaire,
