No prior professional experience is required for this position. However, candidates should be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Private Capital Fund Accountant Officer (M/F)

 

 

CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES

 

BNP Paribas CIB, a subsidiary of the BNP Paribas group, is one of Europe’s leading providers of custody services for securities. 

  

The Luxembourg branch plays a major part in its operations, offering clients high value-added services extending from custody to securities lending, fund administration, performance measurement and ratings, and bond issuance services.

 

 

WHAT’S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?

 

• You will calculate and validate statutory and consolidated Net Asset Values for Alternative Investment Funds

·         You will perform all the tasks to produce the Net Asset Value calculation, which includes:

o   Participation in the launch of new funds, sub-funds, SICAR and unregulated entities.

o   Review of all entries in the General Ledgers.

o   Control the consistency of the valuation received and used for underlying assets.

o   Execution of 1st level controls if any in respect with BP2S procedures.

o   Follow up of the liquidation of funds (or sub-funds), SICAR and unregulated entities.

o   Assistance in the preparation of financial statements.

o   Completion of annual and interim audit requests.

Your working environment 

 

·         You will be joining a young, diversified, and international team of professionals dedicated to constantly innovating the services provided to Private Capital clients

·         The Private Capital department has its main office in Luxembourg Kirchberg. Our open space is located on the 3rd floor of the Equinox Building.  The position is eligible for teleworking and work from the satellite offices, as per the rules defined by the Bank.

·         You will be joining one of the Fund Accounting teams and work also closely with all the other teams of the department.  You will also be in direct contact with our clients and with external auditors.

Professional experience and/or degree

 

Master’s Degree (>=5 years). At least 2 years as a Fund Accountant, Fund Controller in a Management Company or as Auditor.

Fluent in English; French, German/other languages will be considered as an asset.
