BNP Paribas Investment Partners has relaunched its flagship fund range, Parvest, to offer products that are clearer, simpler and closer to clients. The range has been enhanced with new strategies and also now includes a complete set of digital services and sales and advisory tools. This is the first time that so many tools have been made available to our private bank clients and external distributors, both in Europe and around the world.

Parvest [1]: a unique access point to one of the broadest fund ranges in the market
With Parvest’s relaunch, BNP Paribas Investment Partners becomes the number one asset manager in Europe [2], both in terms of the breadth of its offering (106 funds with EUR 35 billion of assets under management [3]) and international reach (funds are registered for sale in more than 30 countries). Four new cutting-edge investment strategies have been added to the Parvest range since January 2014: Nordic small/mid-cap equities, low-volatility emerging market equities, Russian bonds and European listed property. Parvest enjoys considerable recognition from leading external fund rating agencies, with 28 funds rated 4 or 5* by Morningstar or 4 or 5 by Lipper. It also includes 20 blockbuster [4] funds.

Parvest’s structure concerning the major asset classes has been completely overhauled, with its funds now grouped into themes that reflect the most pressing concerns of today’s investors: responsible investing with SRI (socially-responsible investment), obtaining higher returns by investing in fast-growing markets, long-term investing to prepare for the future, supplementing income and diversifying investments.

Parvest: in the digital era
Parvest’s new functionalities were developed to be closer to its clients who are looking for advice and support throughout their investment lifecycles. These new services are available through a wide range of digital media, and include seven new websites accessible in five languages, a new iPad application providing easy and constant access to information when on the move, simulation tools to test various investment plans, blogs providing BNP Paribas Investment Partners’ investment experts’ latest views, and an active presence on social networks to improve BNP Paribas Investment Partners’ proximity to and interaction with investors. All these represent new ways of exploring the new Parvest world, in line with new investor practices.

“The relaunched Parvest spearheads BNP Paribas Investment Partners’ international development. Completely overhauled, simplified and enhanced, the Parvest range provides our clients around the world with not only unique and easy access to the best investment expertise of BNP Paribas Investment Partners and its partners, but also a whole new set of services to help them solve their investment issues”, says Philippe Marchessaux, CEO of BNP Paribas Investment Partners.
